Been working with author Rob Rufus (Die Young With Me) on a new comic book concept called Night Sounds that we're going to pitch around. Night Sounds is like Rosemary's Baby had a one night stand with Pulp Fiction.
Thanks to everyone who came by and checked out our book. Wondercon was a total success! Great to be up and close with so many awesome people.
Next stop: Silicon Valley Comic Con! ![]() The first samples of my new book The Space Odditorium Volume 001 have arrived and I can't be more pleased. Written by Hollywood oddball screenplay writer Chris Calzia, Volume 001 covers the first six vignettes that have only been digitally available up to this point. If you'd like to reserve a copy of this exciting first edition go to www.spaceodditorium.com or just click here. Been brushing up on my Adobe Illustrator skills as of late and decided to do a Space Odditorium promo image using nothing but. Checkety check check!
I once heard that a friend of my wive's husband once wrote a script that he entitle sSslither or something like that. It made me chuckle. So I give sSsnake. I hope you like it, and if not, that's ok too.
Aside from drawing I spent a good chunk of my youth chasing the dream of creating music for a living. While I've temporarily cooled that creative flame in favor of other avenues that need my time, my love for music will never stop. One of the bands that has been at the top of my go to playlists is Dani Bell and The Tarantist, a psychedelic, groove train that's like angels kissing the insides of my earholes. Dani Bell's smooth, hypnotic vocals sweep over, classy, perfectly crafted jams for forty two minutes of audible ecstasy. Since their album Dark West was on repeat for almost an entire month of work, I figured I should pay tribute and try and capture their unique style.
New image for ARTSLAB. If you're interested in making art your livelihood you should check it out.
Visually the devil has always been an interest for me. It is his nefarious dealings that I've always found the most enjoyable to depict, and I've always been heavily influenced by classic horror movie posters, especially their colors.
